NEAT IP License with Sypher Labs

18 November 2014: Today NUS' first license was executed with Sypher Labs Pte Ltd under the new NEAT IP scheme introduced by the NUS Industry Liaison Office (ILO). The transferred technology involves advanced map matching and will be integrated into Sypher Labs' VersaFleet solution.

SIP 20th Anniversary Celebration

27 October 2014: The China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) celebrated its 20 year anniversary. Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean visited the NUS Research Institute (NUSRI) on Monday as part of his three-day trip to China. NUS President Tan Chorh Chuan (陈祝全) and NUS Provost Tan Eng Chye also visited NUSRI. President Tan attended a briefing on the NUSRI research activities.

NSFC Proposal Approved

26 August 2014: Our project proposal submitted to the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) through the NUS Research Institute (NUSRI), Suzhou, has been approved. The project title is "A Study on the Application of Volunteered Geo-Crowdsourcing Videos in Smart Urban Management" ("志愿者地理众包视频在智能城市管理中的应用研究").
